Message = Anyonr who knew Steven Maxwell during his time in service. His nickname was Hercules. He is still a proud member of the Marines. Steven has a diease called Huntingtons Chorea. Memory and ptsd are difficult for him. His time in service has caused alot of heart ache for his children his ex wife and brother & mother. He has a deep desire to re connect with old friend and buddys to better understand himself. Of course the VA needs specfic information about where he was and what he did. He remembers jumping out of a helicopter as it took fire. He remembers this happening at RockPile. There was a MIA telegram delivered to his Mother. We have pieced together that It was thought that he went down with the Heilo. Instead he was one of the last heilo out. The next day or so he was assigned to go back and recover bodies of his buddies and most of his platoon. We beleive that this is one of the most tragic events that lead to his PTSD. He has a few names of guys
that may still be alive. Stewart Dean, Magoo ( nickname). MaGoo signed up with Steven. I cannot remember the his real name.
Thank you for your time;
Steven Maxwell
