Dear Shortimer Sam,
:o [glow=red,2,300]PLEASE HELP![/glow]I realize that this is a Vietnam Veteran site, but I'm trying to help some of my students who are veterans of the recent war in Iraq.
Does anyone know of a website whereby We can find out which states offer free tuition to recipients of the Combat Action Ribbon?
Thanks for any assistance you can give - not even the DVA website (www.gibill.va.gov) has any information on this subject.

The web site at www.military.com has information which may help. They have a section under Education which includes a School Finder, Credit for Military Service, Scholarships, GI Bill and Free School Information. Check out the following link www.military.com/Careers/Education/1,13289,,00.html. Also, I did a search on www.google.com using Combat Action Ribbon in quotes and there are a lot of sites on the topic. I looked at a number of them, but didn't find specifically what you are looking for. However, you may want to research that some more. Good luck!
