Hello all:
Does anyone out there remember the '52 that came back from a bombing run over Hanoi all shot up? Because of crew injuries, the pilot elected to stay with the aircraft. It overflew the base and ended up in a bananna grove across from the base. Only survivors were the co-pilot and tail gunner. This happened during the '72 Christmas offensive when we lost a lot of B52's from Guam and U-Tapao.
Greetings to all VN vets.

Yes, I was working the night/morning it happened. I was refueling 52's, on the East side, that time saw/heard the crash. Too bad they weren't able to land earlier and thus had to come around again to try.
