Dear Shortimer Sam,
Huey519@aol.com
I am a veteran who has become a self professed Veterans Advocate. I have assisted numerous personnel to initiate their PTSD claims. Eleven have achieved 100% during the last year. Numerous have achieved 50% plus, several with individual unemployability

I certainly need help with a PTSD claim. Where do I start and how do I get the evidence needed for the stress letter. I have been unable to locate anyone from my unit, and can find very little about my unit. Email me at bna@aridian.com

The September 2003 Issue of the American Legion Magazine has an article by James Webb titled "Why We Fought" that states the following:
"Army Regulation 600-45 authorized every soldier who had received either a Combat Infantryman's Badge or a Combat Medical Badge to also be awarded a meritorious Bronze Star." If this is correct it should be looked into. Have anyone heard of this?

I served aboard the U.S.S. Iwo Jima LPH-2, from Jan. 1, 1967 to Sept. 15, 1971. I have been searching for information about the Deployments to Vietnam in this time period. All information I find end in 1967. In order to receive Service Connected Disability, the V.A. requires this information. I have been denied my claim for lack of this imformation. Does anyone know where I might find deck logs or deployment to Vietnam for this ship?
Thank you, David Clift

How can I find information on the 4th Infantry Division in Vietnam during 68-69. I was with Co. "B" 1/12 Infantry during that time. It has been so long that names have faded from my mind.
I would like to get a listing of those that served with me during that time. We operated as far North as Kontum and as far south as Duc Lap.
