VA Claim TDY's Lost

I was assigned to the 728th AC&W squadron out of Shaw AFB, SC. We went TDY several times to Thailand and Vietnam, however I had a house fire in 1990 and do not have copies of any records. Mu DD214 shows 1 year and 5 days overseas service service, however on my claim the VA only recognized 2 months of duty in Thailand November, December 65. I was over there PCS to NKP from September 1965 til May 1966 with TDY's to Danang and other bases. No records, they have denied my Periphal Neuropathy and Type II Diabetes as I have no records of being in Vietnam. When I went over the last time in September 1965 it was a PCS toiur, but we still went wherever needed without orders, or orders that just said classified. My appeal is in 5 weeks does anyone have any ideas to contribute, I am really getting upset over this. Thanks, A2C William E. Stacks
