I'm looking for the names of those who served in the 188th MP company or 720th MP Battalion in Vinh Long between December 1969 and December 1970.

I did not serve with the MP's but I have some photos of their HQs and equipment. I was in VL during the same time frame you are interested in. I remember an incident with the MP's sometime in early 1970 a race riot broke out and I was coming out of the Enlisted Club and ran into two MP's with dogs. I thought I did something wrong cause they were shouting at me to get back inside the club. I looked to my left and there was a large group of white soldiers with M16s and to my right was a group of black soldiers with M16s lest I say more I went back inside the club and looking back at the situation those MPs faced a grave situation and seemed to defuse it quiet well.

My uncle, Roger Wamsley served with them in the 1st platoon on a V-100 called Proud Mary from Nov. of '69 to Jan. of '71. I respect the very being of those MP dog handlers during my tour in vietnam, I am looking for any of the 12 dog handlers that served in Dalat on Lang Bieng Mountain, during the time of Jul 69- Jul 70. It was the 556th Signal Co. and thanks again for helping to keep us safe.
