Howdy, Started in about June of '68 in Co D in Camp Enari while most of the company D was north at Kontum in the field. Was driving supply truck for Farley from Virginia. Farley, what a nerd. Anyway, later was changed to Co C, which was a little tougher. Dug dirt and rocks, with the guys there. Later got to drive 5 T dump some. Rode along with someone after that in the Mess truck and picked up gooks for KP from in Pleiku. Remember that toasty hot french bread in the early morning from street vendors. Are any of you left from that firebase job way out, who knows where for two weeks of hot dirty work? Blew up some beautiful mohoghany trees with C-4 so the guns could fire down better. We named ourselves Hardcore. I think Hawkins started that . Are any of you old farts literate enough to use a pc ? Gook.

My name is Gary Sullivan. I was 20th Eng. Battallion/ Co. C in Pleiku. I'm looking for the name of a man whop died in Weit Davis in an ambushed convoy. During late 70's or the first half of 71'. This was the only ambushed convoy, with a fatality, around that time. Any information would help. Anything at all! Numbers, names, if you can, please help. Thank you
