First, let me apologize if this is the wrong forum to be posting this question.
However, I am trying to identify a ribbon that was found in my Dad's effects. I've searched and cannot find any military ribbon with these patter of colors. So I thought I'd post this question and see if anybody knows what it may be.
He served in the 1st Marine Division, with a Supply Company in Korea (during the late 40's early 50's?).
The ribbon has a color pattern (from left to right) of:
Red (or reddish orange), white, red (or reddish orange), white, and finally red (or reddish orange) again.
The three "reds" are slightly wider than the two "whites".
There is a hook at the bottom of the ribbon (in the middle).
I almost have to assume that it's a foreign ribbon as I've perused the US medals/ribbons and don't see any that matter the patter WITH the reds being slight wider than the whites.
Any help or information would be appreciated.
