I was stationed with BtryE/41st M.G from july 70 - july 71. If I remember correctly our Quad50 guntruck was called Charlie Chopper! Our mission was to provide perimiter defence, for the artillary pieces. We also provided convoy protection. Normally each firebase had either ( 2 ) quad50's or a quad50 and a 40mm duster. On a personal note: Fort Stewart, in Hinesvile, Ga has a 40mm Duster on display. It is part of a historic display, about the weapons that were used in Nam. I saw it there a couple of years ago, when i went to visit my son who was stationed there at that time.
