Richard D. Parent parentr@charter.net was born April 1, 1941. When in the Army he was wounded. Richard served in Vietnam with MACV TM 22 and AMSF-NORTH during his 1958 - 1980 active duty. Other duty sattions included KOREA, A BTRY, 3RD GUN BN., 38TH ARTY (CORPS). GERMANY, 32ND SIG. BN. (CORPS). FT MONMOUTH, NJ, CECOM. INDONESIA, DEFENSE LIAISON GROUP. PANAMA, CZ, USA SOUTHCOM & USACC-SO. FT BELVOIR VA, 610TH ENGR CO. 79TH ENGR GP., also serving at FT LEONARDWOOD, MO and FT DIX, NJ. Richard was awared LOM, BS, PH, MSM, JSCM, ARCOM (4 AWDS), AGCM (2 AWDS), VNSM (W/8 SVS STARS), VNCM, VNGC W/PALM, NDSM,VNTHM (2ND CLS), and AIRCRAFT CREWMANS BADGE and was a CW4 when discharged. His hometown was Tupper Lake, graduating from High School in 1959 Re: Richard D. Parent Mr. Parent, If you served with MACV Team 22, 1967-68, then I have the right CWO Parent..I saw a posting by you about your jeep accident in or near Quinhon...I am pretty sure that I recall the incident as I was Motor Officer for Team 22 during that time...Sgt. Loi was our Motor Sergeant...Did you ever locate Cpt. Dye or Lt. Archipole...? Did you settle your claim? If I may be of help, I will be glad to verify that the accident took place.
