Michael Sperling was born on 6-27-49 and served in Vietnam 1969-1970. His Area Of Operation was the DMZ and awarded the Bronze Star. His speciality was Recon and he was an E-5. Growing up in Vancouver WA, he graduated from Columbia River High in 1967. Mike has one thing to say... "He made it home" ...
Wallace Glenn Fortner was born on October 8, 1948 and was in the Army in Vietnam 1967-1968. He served with the 43rd Signal Battalion, co A ( Most of his time was at Dak To relay station (MACV Compound). He was from Osceola, Arkansas and attended Osceola High. Submitted by Cindy.
Alex Eugene Hill genehill3@msn.com was born 13 November 1939. He served in the Army between 1962-1970 spending 2 tours in Vietnam. Presently disabled he was stationed at Quing Yohn the 1st tour and Long Bein the 2nd tour. Alex was presented the A.C.M.,Vietnam Service and Campaign medals, good conduct, National Defense medals. Alex was also awarded the Presindentl Unit Citation, Expert rifleman badge for the M-14 & M-16 and competed in the 7th army rifle team competation in Germany. and finally spent 8 years in the Virginia Army National Guard in Bedford, Va. obtaining the rank of PSG-E7 . Jerry Couchman was born on 18 July 1946 and served in the USMC from 1964-1968 and is disabled. He was with H&S Co. 1st Anti-Tank Bn. 1st Marine Division in Vietnam. Jerry's duty included Ordnance, Infantry Weapons and Armorer as a S/Sgt. From San Diego CA he graduated from Sweetwater High in 1964.
Larry Rose of Warsaw Ill, died on active duty with the Army. His hometown was Warsaw and graduated from Warsaw High.
Jerry D. O'Bar was born on 05/22/1947 and served with the Army in Vietnam. He performed his duty from 5-31-1966 to 5-31-67 with the 173rd Airborne near Bien Hoa. Jerry received 2 Purple Hearts and left the Army as an as E-5. From Santa Clara Ca., he graduated from Adrian C.Wilcox High School in 1965.
