The 292nd Finance Section was located at the Vinh Long Air Field in IV Corps. We did money runs, guard duty, pay vouchers. We also did tdy with the 199th Aviation Co "Swamp Fox" as door gunners and armed passengers and the 7/1 CAV Troop C, patrols, ambushes and S&Ds, both units were stationed at Vinh Long. We also did supply runs to Can-Tho and Saigon as part of our duties.
