My Dad Wesley Donald Hubach passed away this Saturday at 12:45 p.m. He served in WWII and we have pictures of him in his uniform, with his flight squadron,etc But the funeral director says that he can't be buried with military honors unless we Have a copy of his DD-214 discharge papers.
My sister was putting together my Dad's biography and has the DD-214 but she lives in Oregon and was visiting us in Missouri. there is no one at her house that can send us the form before the funeral this Tuesday.
Does anyone know how we could get a copy of his DD-214, either online or some other source in time for his funeral?
He earned the right to be buried with honors. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
