I was at the Oasis at the same time in the Recon Platoon, and was awarded my CIB there. I remember a Hernandez that was a hell of a good soldier.

I earned my CIB Jan, 1966, recon team, HHC, 2d bn, 35th inf, 25 inf div, 3rd bde task force, vietnam. It is the main medal a grunt can and will earn, because not everybody will earn one. Keep up the great work.
